Roles and
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling,
including:
- Detailed 3-statement forecasting and financial
analysis
- Leveraged buyout (LBO) and merger modeling
- Understanding of business valuation techniques,
including DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction
analysis.
- Analyze company reports and financial documents to
create pitch books, company profiles, benchmarking analyses, and
trading/transaction comps.
- Skilled at interpreting and analyzing financial
statements, IPO prospectuses, 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and other regulatory filings.
- Familiarity with financial databases such as Capital
IQ, PitchBook, and FactSet.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Required
Skill Set:
- 3-5 years of experience working with Investment Banks
(IB), Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Advisory firms.
- Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, with
a strong emphasis on financial modeling and transaction support.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
while meeting tight deadlines.
- Advanced degree or professional qualification such as
MBA, Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or an
equivalent credential.
